About Securing Our Children’s Future
Securing Our Children’s Future is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Williamsburg, Virginia, founded by retired U.S. Army Lieutenant General Donna W. Martin. Their mission is to make sure every child in Hampton Roads has access to nutritious food, caring support, and the opportunity to thrive — especially when school is out.
Their programs include weekend backpack meals for kids during school closures, literacy and mentorship initiatives, and partnerships with local schools and community organizations to build lasting solutions to childhood food insecurity.
