Things to Do

When to Use Them

  • Rainy days and quiet time. Print a small stack before the weather turns, and there’s something ready when everyone needs a calmer hour.
  • Long drives and waiting rooms. A few pages and a box of crayons fit in any bag, and they work just as well at a restaurant table as at home.
  • Watch, then color. Put on a read-along, then pull out the coloring pages afterward. Kids often want to draw the story they just heard.
  • Classrooms and libraries. Teachers and librarians are welcome to print copies for story time, centers, or a quiet activity at the end of the day.
